How can I enable two-factor authentication (2FA)?

We highly recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) to add an extra layer of security to your account. 2FA requires 2 forms of verification - your password and a time-based code - to confirm your identity.

To enable 2FA:

1. In the Change app, go to Settings > Two-factor authentication.
2. Tap the Enable 2FA button (green "Off").
3. Copy the secret key displayed - don't tap "Done" yet.
4. Open your authentication app (we recommend Google Authenticator) and:
   • Tap the "+" icon and select Enter setup key
   • Paste the Change secret key and save.
5. Your app will generate 6-digit codes. Copy the current code.
6. Once your account is added, copy the 6-digit two-factor code from the authentication app.
7. Return to the Change app and tap Done.
8. Enter your account password and the 6-digit code to confirm and activate 2FA.

Once activated, you'll be asked for a code each time you sign in. We also recommend securely storing your backup codes, in case you lose access to your authentication app.
