Who can open an Account?

Anyone who is at least 18 years old and is a citizen or legal resident of the 30 countries within the European Economic Area (EEA) can open a Change account. The EEA includes all 27 EU member states + Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway. However, due to Brexit, as of January 1st, 2021, the United Kingdom (UK) is no longer part of the EU or EEA. Therefore, UK citizens can only open a Change account if they currently reside in an EEA state and hold a valid residence permit from a member state.

For those interested in opening a Business Account, the legal entity must be established in Estonia with its registered business address in Estonia. All board members, shareholders, and beneficial owners must be residents and/or citizens of Estonia. Additionally, all board members and beneficial owners must be registered users with successfully funded accounts (minimum initial deposit).

We reserve the right to unilaterally decide whether to open an account or provide services to any individual or entity and are not obligated to justify our decisions.

All information provided during account registration and use must be accurate, current, and complete. We may request updates as needed. Failure to provide accurate information may result in account denial, closure, or restricted service access.

To maintain account eligibility, funds must be transferred from bank accounts opened under your name in EEA financial institutions. Third-party transfers are not permitted.
