Who can open an Account?

Anyone who is at least 18 years of age and is a citizen or legal resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) can open a Change account. However, due to Brexit, as of January 1st, 2021, the United Kingdom (UK) is no longer part of the EU or EEA. Therefore, if you are a UK citizen, you can only open a Change account when residing in an EEA state and holding a residence permit from a member state.

For those interested in opening a Business Account, the legal entity must be established in Estonia, and all members of the board, shareholders, and beneficial owners must be residents or citizens of Estonia. Additionally, all board members and beneficial owners must also be registered users with successfully funded accounts.

We reserve the right to unilaterally decide whether to open an account or provide services to any individual or entity, and we are not obligated to justify our decisions.
