We're pleased to announce that the migration of customer accounts from xChange AS to Change Securities B.V. has been successfully completed.
Change Securities B.V. is a regulated investment firm based in the Netherlands and part of the Change group. By providing our services through Change Securities B.V., we now operate under the European Union's MiCA regulatory framework, offering a consistent regulatory standard across the European Economic Area (EEA).
For most customers, the migration required no action and your account, balances, transaction history, and personal data were transferred securely as part of the process. You can continue using the Change app as usual.
What has changed?
A few account details may have changed as part of the migration:
- Your bank transfer details (IBAN) have been updated.
- Your cryptocurrency deposit addresses may have changed.
- Some crypto-assets are no longer supported due to regulatory and product changes.
- Staking is currently unavailable while we work on bringing it back under the new regulatory framework.
To avoid delays or loss of funds, always use the latest deposit addresses and bank account details shown in the Change app.
Your assets remain protected
Customer funds and crypto-assets continue to be held separately from Change's own assets in accordance with MiCA requirements. We continue to apply strict security controls and regulatory safeguards to protect your account and assets.
